Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our dining operations across multiple outlets within the resort. The ideal candidate will bring international hospitality experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. You will oversee both the culinary (back-of-house) and service (front-of-house) teams, ensuring seamless coordination, quality, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all food and beverage operations across restaurants, bars, banquets, and catering services.
- Lead, train, and motivate a multicultural team of chefs, kitchen staff, and service personnel.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, service excellence, hygiene, and safety.
- Collaborate with culinary leaders on menu planning, seasonal offerings, and creative dining concepts.
- Manage budgets, control costs, forecast demand, and maximize profitability.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure compliance with Finnish and international food safety and liquor regulations.
- Work closely with resort management to support special events, weddings, and group experiences.
- Maintain supplier relationships and oversee purchasing and inventory control.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a Food & Beverage Manager or senior leadership role within luxury hotels, resorts, or international hospitality settings.
- Strong international experience with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, sustainability practices, and guest service excellence.
- Flexibility to thrive in a seasonal, fast-paced Arctic environment.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages (Finnish, German, French, Chinese, Japanese, etc.) are an advantage.
